Selenehelion
A selenehelion is an unusual and seemingly impossible event: for a few minutes tomorrow morning, given a clear sky, one will be able to see the sun rising as the same time as its shadow covers the setting full moon in the west. Sunrise over the mountains chez moi this morning was at 6:42. By this time tomorrow the total shadow on the moon will be lessening, I think. The middle of the total lunar eclipse should be sometime between 5:30 am and 6 am...
