Unknown Journey

UNKNOWN JOURNEY     oil on canvas     54" x 34"

this painting has been hanging in my living space where I can see it all the time since it was finished in mid-January...and now it has been adopted (their choice of word) by a couple from Washington state who spend their winters in Palm Desert (very intelligent)...I will deliver UNKNOWN JOURNEY to them next week...and I will miss it...

this morning I found these quotes from Flo Kennedy, a feminist and activist, in my inbox:

It's interesting to speculate how it developed that in two of the most anti-feminist institutions, the church and the law court, the men are wearing the dresses.

Sweetie, if you're not living on the edge, then you're taking up space.

  2. Love that quote!!!! Congratulations on the adoption. I know what you mean about how you will miss it. The best ones always sell, and then you are lonely for them.

  3. love the colors and the haziness of the whole painting which adds to the mystery....aptly titled. Great work!
