Whiptail Lizard and Datura




Whiptail Lizard, named for its long tail, so long it did not get into the photo in this case...this one is a medium size, about 14" from head to tip of tail



close-up shows its beautiful patterns...these lizards eat worms that eat plants, including the huge green "tomato worms" that like to eat the wild Datura plants:
