Birgir Sandzen studied with post-impressionists and produced large brilliantly colored oils, a good sample of which are being shown at the Palm Springs Museum until some time in September...
I was struck by the bold colors and the dynamism of the way the paint was applied...
I also took photos of the complete images, and then was told this was not allowed, since there were copyright issues because this is an exhibit of paintings that do not belong to the museum, hence I cannot post them here...
the exhibit is large and powerful, well worth seeing IMHO...
